Share (Savings) Account

Share Savings – The Key To Membership

A Share (Savings) Account is the first account you open in order to become a credit union member. Deposit and maintain a minimum balance of $5.00 and you are immediately eligible for the many benefits of Alcoa Pittsburgh FCU membership.

Your account represents your “share” in the ownership of the credit union ‒ and the reason why savings are called “shares.”

Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU:

when you open an account, we will ask your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

Club & Multipurpose Savings Accounts

You can open a Club Account to save for a vacation, the holidays or any other purpose. To get started, stop by the credit union.
